Daphnée Fromentin, LMSW
After ten years of honorable service in the United States Army, Daphnée relocated back to New York to complete her education. She received her master’s degree in Social Work at Columbia University.
Growing up, Daphnée was surrounded by mentors and people she looked up to. These mentors have played an important role in her life, inspiring her to dedicate herself to changing the trajectory of the lives of underserved young adults.
Daphnée is fluent in English and Haitian Creole. She takes a goal-oriented approach in working with a diverse population while using Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy to help clients deal with anxiety and depression while achieving their goals and fulfilling their purpose driven life.
Daphnée is happiest when she is giving back to her community. When not volunteering, she enjoys hiking, cooking, K-dramas, and spending time with her daughter.
“Service is the rent we pay for living on this earth, for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not something you do in your spare time.” (Shirley Chisholm and Marian Wright Edelman)
