Kathy Horlina, LMSW, CASAC
Kathy Horlina received her undergraduate and graduate degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in 2014.
Growing up without the feeling of support and empowerment from others was extremely difficult for Kathy. This drove the burning passion to be the person for others that Kathy never had. Obtaining a degree in Social Work and gaining many years of experience working in the field of Behavioral Health were stepping stones to gain the knowledge and tools in order for her to give back to others.
In 2016, Kathy fell in love with the world of personal development and a minimalistic lifestyle. Because of this life changing shift, Kathy decided to take her passion to the next level by refocusing her social media following towards encouraging personal development. With the notion of living in abundance, she helps others to connect with their inner selves and navigate through life.
With clients, Kathy utilizes Solution-Focused individual therapy modalities, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches, and Person-Centered therapy. Ultimately, her goal is to help each client develop ways to live with less and truly enjoy life.
Kathy lives in Westchester, New York, with her significant other and her pet Yorkie, Keylana.
Kathy’s definition of happiness is to live life with no expectations.
