Fee-For-Service Psychotherapist (part time)

Resilient Mind Psychotherapy is seeking LCSW’s, LMSW’s, LMHC/LMFT/LCAT (permit holding or eligible.) psychotherapists for a busy private practice in Brooklyn, New York. This is a fee-for-service position- approximately 20 client contact hours with potential to grow into a full-time position.

Qualities:

We are looking to hire clinicians who have the ability to think creatively, use mindfulness and somatic approaches, and who would like to work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, diligent, responsible, and committed to improving their clinical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinicians conduct intake assessments, provide individual, family, and/or group therapy, as well as referrals when needed. All clinicians hired will receive individual and team clinical supervision with hours counting towards the requirements for the LCSW/LMHC licensing exam.

The benefits of working in a private practice include a higher pay rate, consistent supervision, substantially LESS paperwork than is required in a clinic, and the ability to work with clients using the modality of your choosing.

    Part-time/Fee-for-service Clinical Supervisor (LCSW/PHD/PSY.D)

    Resilient Mind Psychotherapy is looking to hire a part-time/fee-for-service Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a Clinical Supervisory role to support our clinicians and optimize treatment for our clients. The Clinical Supervisor will have regular, structured meetings with the Clinical Director and Clinicians to discuss treatments and professional issues. The Clinical Supervisor will guide practitioners to assess clients’ mental health, develop suitable treatments, and make referrals. You will train, evaluate, discipline, and motivate staff. You will ensure the quality of clinical documentation at all times.

    To be successful in this role you need to display strong leadership and make prudent decisions to maintain practitioners who can adequately fulfill clients’ treatment needs. Top candidates will be organized, knowledgeable and excellent communicators.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Having regular meetings with the CEO, COO, Clinical Director and practitioners.
    • Overseeing and reviewing practitioners’ work procedures.
    • Counseling, motivating, and disciplining practitioners, and referring advanced issues to upper management.
    • Conducting performance reviews.
    • Ensuring practitioners comply with licensure and registration requirements.
    • Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality of clinical documentation.
    • Assisting practitioners by supervising complex cases.
    • Enhancing operations by ensuring sufficient staffing and adequate access to services.
    • Developing programs and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
