Fabia DeMartino, MHC-LP
Fabia DeMartino received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brooklyn College in 2018, her master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology from St. Francis in 2020, and her Certificate in Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University in 2021.
Fabia previously worked with children and young adults in the foster care system, helping them in their journey of processing their feelings of anxiety, trauma, and depression. She is experienced in helping children and young adults recognize their self-worth and value.
She practices within person-centered therapy, mindfulness therapy, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy to strengthen the skills to work through the struggles of everyday life. Through her warmhearted approach, she focuses on the aspects of acceptance, genuineness, and empathy to increase self-esteem and self-awareness, so the individual can be the best they can be.
Having her clients heard and understood is her primary goal. She believes acknowledging and recognizing emotions and thoughts is one of the best ways for personal growth and acceptance.
Fabia lives in Brooklyn, New York, and enjoys spending time with family. She is most happy with a cup of coffee in her hand being surrounded by the ones she loves.
