Experiences with loss have played a big role in shaping how I approach my work. From losing a parent as a teenager to navigating questions of identity as an adult, I’ve spent years examining how loss ripples through families over time. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for resilience—the “muscle” we strengthen over time—and the incredible impact it can have on our lives.

Everyone comes to therapy from a different place and in their own time—there’s no one “right” way to begin. Taking this step in a safe, collaborative space helped me grow and move forward, and I am dedicated to supporting others as they uncover insights, explore emotions, and discover new ways of engaging with the world around them.

As a second-career therapist, I bring a unique perspective informed by my background in law and business, which has made me more attuned to the pressures and stressors of those environments. My approach blends psychodynamic and relational techniques, looking at how early life experiences and relationship patterns influence where we are today. I focus not only on where clients are now but also on how they got there and where they want to go. With the use of a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and psychoeducation, I support clients as they identify and challenge internalized narratives that may no longer align with their well-being. In our sessions, we’ll co-create a therapeutic space rooted in empathy, trust, and respect, where you can safely explore your experiences, discover your strengths, and work toward meaningful growth and healing.

I work with people navigating grief, whether from a recent loss or one that occurred long ago. I also support individuals contemplating professional transitions, suffering from burnout or anxiety, and those working through identity and relationship challenges—both personal and familial. Past clients have shared that our sessions go beyond surface-level conversation while still enabling them to set the pace of their self-exploration in a way that feels comfortable, productive and brings them more clarity of mind. My aim is to help clients of all ages feel more grounded, self-aware, and equipped with practical tools to live their lives with greater ease and self-assurance.

When not working, I enjoy staying active throughout all the seasons (having a puppy definitely helps), exploring new hobbies that spark creativity, and spending quality time with family and close friends.
