Psychotherapist Brooklyn, NYC

Alexandra Bunde,
Clinical Intern
My passion for understanding human emotions and behavior began in high school with my first psychology course. While in undergrad, I debated between pursuing research or clinical work for years, but my own transformative experience in therapy and meaningful volunteer work solidified my path. Seeing the impact of one-on-one support on a person’s well-being inspired my commitment to becoming a compassionate, culturally aware, and clinically competent therapist.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is individualized, integrating person-centered therapy with elements of a variety of modalities such as psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Clients who appreciate a collaborative, compassionate, and eclectic style may find our work together particularly meaningful.
My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the changes they are making. I strive to provide a safe space for emotional processing while also equipping clients with practical coping tools to use beyond the therapy room.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time in nature, knitting, reading, and roller skating.
